At what age did you start cooking?
• At the age of 12 years.
What is your favorite dish?
• Orange Chicken and our Carne Frita!
What is the most important thing on a plate?
• The most important are three factors ... Freshness of ingredients, seasoning of the food and taking care of the safety of the food and most importantly, do it with love and respect!
What are the products you like to surprise a customer with?
• I like to surprise clients with different combinations of herbs, vegetables and my creativity.
When you cook what do you think about?
• In perfection and that I am offering the gift that God gave me.
What products cannot be missing when cooking?
• When I cook, you can't miss fresh vegetables like garlic, peppers, onions and cilantro.
Do you think the work of a chef is valued?
• Yes, it is valued. If the work he offers is of quality, innovation and respect for the product, it will be valued! I know as I've been cooking for the same customers for more than 20 years.
Have you studied cooking in any school?
• I obtain my culinary degree at the Hotel School of Puerto Rico.
What awards have you received?
• Won 1st place at the Aramark Company National Cooking Competition.
